Role Description

This is a full-time Safety Trainer role based in Lubbock, TX, with a hybrid work setup that allows for some work-from-home flexibility. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering safety training courses, ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards. Core tasks include creating tailored safety education programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing hands-on training to employees on various safety procedures and equipment usage. The Safety Trainer will also work closely with clients to assess safety needs and support the development of effective safety protocols and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety and OSHA standards
  • Proficient in conducting effective Safety Training sessions and developing training programs
  • Strong Communication skills to deliver technical information and engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Hands-on experience in Training and mentoring teams on safety-related practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, compliance standards, and safety certifications
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for training, reporting, and communication purposes
