Technical Support Engineer Provide advanced technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro‑mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked or wireless systems. Escalate issues that first‑line product support cannot resolve, report design flaws or reliability problems to design and software engineering teams, and assist with customer installation, training, and maintenance activities. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve desktop hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient and effective resolution for customers. Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities and data backup and restore operations on client accounts. Maintain knowledge of local and regional infrastructure and key contacts in other competencies to coordinate with appropriate teams and ensure issues are addressed within SLA objectives. Document and report critical design flaws, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to engineering teams. Provide customer support for highly technical or sophisticated products and conduct customer training when required. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large, complex aerospace or defense enterprise environments (e.g., RTX) with long operational histories. Familiarity with legacy network architectures and incremental modernization efforts. Experience operating within regulated, multi‑site, globally distributed environments, navigating account‑specific governance, escalation models, and stakeholder dynamics. Certifications in IT service management or networking (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent). Strong understanding of enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless). US Restricted qualification (or preferred experience). Preferred: Cisco certification. Preferred: Experience with network automation or scripting. Compensation and Benefits U.S. salary range: $79,920 to $152,160 (adjusted by location and experience). Eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program.
