We're looking for a patient, compassionate caregiver with dementia experience to support a client in her home in Dallas (75225). This is a long-term assignment, and consistency is very important for the client's comfort and sense of security.
The client is not physically combative or aggressive, but she may experience confusion and occasionally forget familiar faces. We're seeking someone who understands dementia and can respond with calm reassurance, kindness, and confidence.
This role focuses on dementia-aware personal care and supervision, including:
Assistance with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Gentle reminders, redirection, and reassurance
Companionship and engagement
Ensuring safety in the home
Light meal preparation and care-related housekeeping
Caregivers with hands-on dementia or memory-care experience
Someone calm, patient, and emotionally steady
A caregiver who values routine and long-term consistency
Someone who can commit to this schedule ongoing
Predictable weekday hours
One-on-one, in-home care
Supportive office team
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts if you want more hours
Dementia care experience (required)
Reliable transportation
Dependability and strong communication
Ability to pass background checks and onboarding requirements
Authorized to work in the U.S.
