We are a growing repossession company based in the Philadelphia market, and we are seeking motivated drivers to join our team of Tow Truck Drivers. Qualified candidates will assist in securing vehicles that are due to be repossessed. All applicants must have wrecker driving experience, a clean driving record, no criminal convictions and be willing to submit to random and pre-employment drug screenings.

This is a full-time overnight driving position, an 8-hour shift between the hours of 9pm-9am.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company vehicles
• Operating and driving truck in coverage area
• Check over tow truck daily to ensure truck is in working order and you have all proper equipment to repossess vehicles.
• Check Hotlist in RepoReport to see if there are any vehicles that are still out in the field that have been located by an RI.
• Check the notes tab in RepoReport to access notes and pictures of vehicle to be repossessed provided by our Repossession Investigators when the vehicle is located.
• Check the last six of the VIN number referencing the repo order before pulling away with unit.
• Repossess vehicle once the unit is found and you have a valid repossession order in hand containing vehicle identification number (VIN) and vehicle information including the debtors’ info as well as the Bank/Client information.
• Report repossession to local police department. Philadelphia County you report to the police district you recovered the vehicle in.
• When reporting a repossession in Philadelphia County you must fill out a Philadelphia police report (48) and provide the 48, the repossession order as well as your credentials to the district.
• Tow unit back to IRS yard once collateral was reported to the police.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a wrecker
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be 23 years or older due to insurance regulations
• Medical DOT card or wiling to obtain one prior to start date
• Proficiency in reading VINs

Preferred Qualifications:

· Flatbed/rollback experience

· Repossession experience
