Role Overview:

The Striping Specialist will be responsible for performing striping services and parking lot maintenance. This role requires a blend of parking lot striping, signage and wheel stop installation and will involve working closely with the team to ensure that the work being done is satisfactory to the foreman and the team. You will be contributing to the successful completion of construction projects and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shows up on time, wearing the proper attire / PPE, ready for job briefing.
• Supervise and participate in daily construction activities on-site.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with all safety standards and regulations (ADA, OSHA, etc.)
• Coordinate with onsite subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure timely and effective execution of tasks.
• Monitor construction progress and troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Report on daily progress and document any issues encountered on the job site.
• Must be able to work well with others

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
• Certification in safety protocols (OSHA or similar) is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Understanding of ADA regulations
• Understanding specifications and usage of equipment and materials

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in construction, general labor, or a specialized trade.
• 1-3 years experience operating and maintaining striping equipment is required.
• 1-3 years experience laying out parking lots or roadways is required.
• Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and construction equipment is required.

Supervisor:

• Reports directly to: Foreman
• Indirectly reports to: General Superintendent, Project Manager

Additional Information:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods
• Work Environment: Field setting, comfortable in the elements: extreme heat, and extreme cold
• Travel Requirements: Minimal travel and overnight stays required.
• Nights and weekends: Moderate
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish speaking)
