Public Relations Manager This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, California. Summary This role supports global communications initiatives related to sports programming and digital sports experiences. The position contributes to the development and execution of global PR strategies surrounding major sports partnerships and digital products, helping drive awareness, storytelling, and media engagement across the sports, entertainment, and technology landscape. Our Ideal Candidate 10+ years of experience in public relations, ideally within sports, entertainment, technology, or related industries. Passion for sports, media, and consumer technology with a strong foundation in media relations and communications strategy. Proficient in media outreach, communications planning, and campaign execution, with strong storytelling and narrative development skills. Familiar with global PR launches, experiential activations, crisis communications, and evolving media landscapes. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, communications, and business stakeholders. Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail. Experience supporting executive communications, thought leadership initiatives, and media strategy. Strong relationship-building skills with journalists, media outlets, and industry partners. Job Description In this role, you will support the development and execution of global communications strategies related to sports programming and digital sports platforms. You’ll partner with communications teams, marketing groups, business leaders, and external partners to help plan and implement product launches, media announcements, and strategic initiatives. This includes managing media outreach, coordinating press opportunities, supporting experiential activations, and monitoring ongoing news cycles. You will also help analyze media coverage and sentiment, identify potential issues, and support messaging strategies while maintaining ongoing communication efforts that strengthen brand storytelling and audience engagement. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Background in public relations, media relations, sports communications, entertainment communications, or related disciplines. Experience working with professional sports organizations, athletes, or media partners is preferred. Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Culver City, California and requires hybrid work with some domestic travel as needed. The pay for this W-2 position is $91.71 per hour . This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
