Private Homes Chef

The Private Chef will be responsible for creating and executing custom culinary experiences for VIP guests staying in our private villas or suites. This role demands a deep understanding of fine dining, global cuisines, dietary preferences, and seasonal ingredients, all while ensuring flawless presentation and discretion.

Essential functions include: designing and preparing personalized menus based on guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability; providing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, including multi-course plated meals, casual dining, and specialty requests for up to 20-25 guests; shopping for and sourcing premium, fresh, local, and imported ingredients as needed; maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with resort and health standards; collaborating with resort staff including butlers, housekeepers, and concierge to deliver a seamless guest experience; managing inventory, kitchen equipment, and supplies efficiently; catering for private events or in-villa celebrations as requested; maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times with high-profile clientele; and collaborating with the catering team regularly.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include: proven experience as a Private Chef or Executive Chef in a luxury hospitality environment, private estate, or high-end restaurant; formal culinary training from a recognized institution preferred; expertise in a broad range of cuisines; exceptional knife skills, plating aesthetics, and knowledge of modern culinary techniques; excellent time management, organization, and adaptability; discreet, professional, and service-oriented demeanor; ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends; and valid driver's license and/or culinary certifications as required by local law.
