Position Overview: Thrive Pediatric Wellness is seeking an energetic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention to infants and toddlers (0-3 years old) within West Los Angeles. The position focuses on in-home therapy services utilizing a child-led, play based approach to support development. Who we are: At Thrive Pediatric Wellness, we are a group of passionate Occupational Therapists who provide in-home and community-based OT services for children. We specialize in feeding therapy, sensory integration, fine motor development and early developmental milestones. We utilize a child-led, play-based, holistic approach to therapy integrating the latest research in therapeutic approaches. We are passionate about supporting families through their journey of parenthood. What you’ll do: Provide 1:1 Occupational Therapy in-home, daycares or school settings. Develop and implement individual treatment plans focusing on fine motor development, sensory integration, self-regulation, feeding and social-emotional skills. Educate families, caregivers and educators on therapeutic strategies to support progress at home or school. Write treatment session documentation and progress reports Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active California OT license. National Occupational Therapist license. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Minimum 18 months experience working in Early Intervention as an OTR/L. Preferred. Experience in Feeding therapy a plus. Strong communication skills, flexibility, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
