Legal Billing Specialist
Chicago, IL | (Hybrid)


Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join our team in the Chicago office. This role will be responsible for handling both traditional billing and e-billing processes in a hybrid schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines
• Manage e-billing submissions and troubleshoot any related issues
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to address billing inquiries
• Assist in month-end and year-end billing processes
• Maintain billing records and ensure timely payments

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in a legal billing position
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal billing software, preferably Aderant, and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range: Compensation is based on experience and skill set, with an annual target salary range of 70,000 to 92,000/ year.
