Clients receive experienced legal representation along with personal attention. Role Description The Legal Assistant will support the attorney and office by managing legal and administrative tasks in a fast-paced personal injury and civil litigation environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining case files, scheduling appointments and court dates, and assisting with client communication by phone, email, and in person. The role also involves coordinating with courts and other law offices, tracking deadlines, drafting routine correspondence, and performing basic legal research under attorney supervision. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Morristown, NJ, with a combination of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. Salary for qualified candidates is $40 per hour. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with legal procedures relevant to personal injury and civil litigation. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, courts, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner. Demonstrated Administrative Assistance experience, including scheduling, file management, data entry, and office coordination. Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Comfort with common legal and office software (e.g., case management systems, word processing, spreadsheets).
