Job Responsibilities - Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation equipment. - Support the lead technician in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork according to specifications. - Maintain a clean and organized work area during installations to ensure safety and efficiency. - Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations. - Help in the proper setup and use of tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installations. - Participate in the testing of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local codes. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues under the supervision of a senior technician. - Load and unload materials and equipment for HVAC installation projects. - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site. - Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in HVAC installation techniques. - Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction. - Document and report any installation challenges or discrepancies to the lead technician.
