Your Role
As an Install Helper, youll work alongside experienced installers to set up, replace, and service heating and cooling systems. Youll help make sure every job is done safely, efficiently, and up to Jakes high standards.
What Youll Do
Assist with installing and replacing furnaces, air conditioners, duct systems, and water heaters
Support the installation team with materials, tools, and prep work on each job
Help troubleshoot and resolve any issues that come up during installs
Learn to perform start-ups and adjustments under supervision
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members
Complete basic documentation and assist with collecting necessary paperwork
Follow company policies, safety standards, and best practices
What Youll Need
Previous HVAC experience or mechanical background preferred (but not required)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions
Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience assisting with residential HVAC installations
Basic understanding of HVAC tools, materials, and safety procedures
