Position Overview Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time chemistry teacher for its high school division for the 2026-27 school year. Responsibilities The candidate will teach 10th grade accelerated and grade-level chemistry classes, adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students, design engaging laboratory activities, and foster critical thinking, problem solving, and practical scientific skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (or related field); Master’s or PhD preferred Master’s degree in Education preferred Experience teaching chemistry at a high school or university level Salary and Benefits Full-time equivalent salary range is $65,000 – $115,000, depending on years of experience. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
