Overview A Louisiana hospital needs a locum tenens hematology oncology physician for coverage 3 days per week, with the possibility of ongoing coverage. You will see 10-12 adult patients per week, inpatient and outpatient, and will be required to administer chemotherapy and perform blood transfusions as needed. Responsibilities Provide patient care in hematology and oncology for adult patients (inpatient and outpatient). Administer chemotherapy and perform blood transfusions as needed. Collaborate with the hospital team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
