Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and experienced Executive Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading all culinary operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a passion for high-quality food, team development, and operational excellence in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations across all outlets, including restaurant, banquet, and in-room dining
• Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members to maintain Four-Diamond standards
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
• Support menu development with a focus on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet financial goals
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
• Collaborate with front-of-house and event teams to deliver seamless guest experiences

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in a senior sous chef or executive sous chef role, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage high-volume service while maintaining quality
• Solid understanding of cost control, labor management, and kitchen operations
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of modern culinary techniques and trends
