Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing, is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join their team in the Greater Nashville Area. Reporting to the Director of Safety & Compliance, you’ll play a key role in leading and supporting environmental, health, safety, and regulatory programs across their facilities. In this role, you will help assess, design, and enhance EHS initiatives, driving a strong safety and compliance culture across the organization. The ideal candidate has experience leading safety programs in a chemical or plant-based manufacturing environment, with a proven ability to conduct root cause analysis, manage incident investigations, and implement corrective actions. A collaborative, hands-on approach will allow you to make a meaningful impact as the company continues to enhance its safety culture. Responsibilities Develop safety programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations Evaluate and update policies and SOPs to reflect regulatory changes and best practices Provide leadership and guidance for training, environmental compliance, and safety Promote employee engagement through committees, recognition, and participation programs Design and deliver onboarding and refresher safety training Coach and mentor staff on safety best practices and initiatives Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments implementing corrective actions as needed Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and development of preventive measures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety improvements Conduct behavior-based safety observations and provide actionable feedback Analyze safety metrics to identify high-risk areas and recommend preventive measures Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall safety culture Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing required Proven experience leading safety initiatives in a plant setting required Skilled in root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions required Experience conducting safety and compliance audits required #J-18808-Ljbffr twiceasnice Recruiting
