Data Center Engineer Required Skills Experience with High Density power architecture Power conversion strategies and trends including DC power Busway systems vs cabling Rack level power budgeting Experience with designing or knowing details for rack-level power >10—30kW Experience with Power Distribution Units (PDUs), failover and redundancy, holdup, and UPS integration Experience with thermal management at scale Airflow engineering (hot isle / cold isle containment) Liquid cooling (direct to chip, heat exchangers) CFD based thermal modeling Looking for experience in designing > 15kW / rack cooling Exposure to liquid cooling systems Ability to quantify delta T, airflow, heat rejection paths Experience with Reliability engineering and Fault Tolerances Experience with redundant architecture Failure mode analysis Monitoring and alerting systems. Experience with Modular & Scalable Compute Infrastructure Blade servers Rack as unit of deployment Rapid upgrade cycles Looking for experience with GPU clusters Understanding PCIe, NVLink, high-speed interconnects Data Center Engineer Additional Requirements Systems Engineer/Architect Additional Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or other related technical discipline, and 5 years of directly related experience; or a Master’s degree and 3 years of related e xperience. Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen. Skills in analysis, critical thinking, and technical problem solving. Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, shift priorities, and be willing to adapt or improve. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
