Job Title: Janitorial Cleaner Compensation: $12-$18hrly (bi-weekly)
Shift: 2X Weekly (Will confirm before start date)
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on quality cleaning services.
Duties
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring types
Utilize custodial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently and safely
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or touch-ups
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads as required
Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
